I took a break from the glass beads tonight. I needed to use more earthy materials and a comfortable design. Of course I went back to the spiral. I was talking on the phone and absent-mindedly drew the design. It felt good so I went with it. It’s fun to explore new ideas but it’s comforting to know that I can always come back to the familiar.
