Tonight’s mosaic was inspired by this doodle that I drew during a workshop.
I always draw while I’m listening. It helps me concentrate. I like to color the doodles in when I get home.
It’s never as easy as I think it’s going to be to turn a drawing into a mosaic, especially a 4″ square mosaic. One problem is turning the fluid line of the pen into a hard material like glass. The other issue is that with a mosaic you have to fill in the negative spaces as well as the positive spaces. With a drawing the negative spaces can be left blank.
