I went to mosaic class tonight and Rona was working on a beautiful dragon fly mosaic. For the background she decided to do a fancy pattern. I try to do fancy backgrounds on some of my daily mosaics but they’re really too small to do much. Then it hit me – I would have more room for a background if I don’t do a design. This mosaic may look like a design but it’s actually just a background. Don’t be surprised if you see more backgrounds this week.
