Day 15 – Silly Goose

Tonight I remembered why I’m doing this project and why I love to make things.  I was really tired today and was thinking that making a mosaic a day was starting to rule my life.  I wasn’t sure I could keep it up.  Luckily, when I got home I pulled out my supplies and started to create.  By the time I finished the mosaic I felt energized as I always do.  I need this project to keep me going and to lift me up with I feel down.  I’m so excited about what I made today!

While I was driving home a goose flew by my car.  It was flying very low and I noticed its long  outstretched neck.  I saw the mosaic of the goose almost instantly.  The only thing I didn’t see was that it wouldn’t fit on the 4″ board.  Oh well, the edges are really just a guideline.

I looked up goose in Animal-Speak Pocket Guide by Ted Andrew – “Heed the call to the new quest. Open to new wonders and possibilities. Pursue new adventures. Explore new travels.”   It all fits together.

I love the out of the borders goose! And it’s so beautiful against the blue, night sky tiles.

thanks, I’m so proud of the goose. Sometimes things just work out! It’s a great reminder not to try too hard and just let it happen
